For psychotherapy, we can say that it is the psychological support techniques that are applied by a professional mental health specialist and that enable the person to cope with problems more effectively by increasing their psychological well-being, and contribute to a better quality of life by gaining awareness. In the psychotherapy process, people can develop insight into what causes their behaviors and problems, produce solutions for them, and manage their relationships in a healthier way. It is important to know that it is very normal that there can be somedays you feel good after your session but also there can be somedays you feel bad after your session, because some sessions can be challenging at times, especially when dealing with painful issues that need to be talked about. If the person accepts this as a part of the process and continues the sessions, also with the help of trust relationship between the client and the therapist, a big obstacle standing in front of the solution of client’s problems can be overcome.

Some of the problem areas that I am giving psychotherapy service for adults and adolescents are post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, anger control problems, inability to cope with stress, psychosomatic diseases, relationship and attachment problems, fear of being cheated on, problems with self-confidence and feeling worthless, phobias, parent-adolescent conflicts, exam anxiety, anxiety and fears related to covid virus, mobbing, burnout syndrome and adaptation problems resulting from immigration.
